Arbaeen Majlis & Game

I’ve always felt connected to Arbaeen and the Arbaeen walk despite never having gone to it myself. I wrote a story about a little pigeon who got swept away into the Arbaeen walk, which was later adapted into an animation for Kisa Kids here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zS4rivfgFg and for the past few years I have hosted a children’s majalis for Arbaeen complete with mock mowkibs and children leading recitations and nohas. So this year, I wanted to do something else. I set upon creating a board game, and alhamdulillah succeeded. While it won’t be printed like an actual board game this year, (except a few ridiculously high priced print on demand copies with no profit margins) the du’a is to have it manufactured in a larger, more affordable quantity next year iA. So instead it’s a print & play, and I hope it can serve the ummah. I’m actually really proud of it alhamdulillah, and probably spent upwards of 80 hours on it over the course of three weeks.

Inshallah with your purchases we’ll be sending printed copies of the game as tabarruk to this year’s Arbaeen walk.

The game is available here: meccallc.com/shop/p/arbaeengame
